As if we didn’t already love Clueless enough, director Amy Heckerling recently divulged to Vulture that she is bringing her cult-favorite 90s film to Broadway. Working as hard as Cher did to make over Tai, Amy is debating who should tackle the leading role of the movie’s beloved Beverly Hills princess.

Amy told Vulture, “Katy Perry has expressed interest, and I love her to death.” While I’d love to see the doe-eyed singer on stage, the director also threw another rising star’s name in the ring, adding: “Maybe Iggy [Azalea] wants to do it!” After all, Iggy did pull inspiration from Cher and the gang in the music video for her chart-topping hit, “Fancy.” While the cast gets sorted out, I’ll be anxiously awaiting the dance routines that accompany my favorite scenes.
