The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office has partially identified the person found dead on Terminal Street in Charlestown, who reportedly jumped off the Tobin Bridge Tuesday morning.
The alleged jumper was a 50-year-old man, a spokesperson with the DA’s office told BostInno over the phone Wednesday afternoon. The man’s name was not released because his death is not related to a crime investigation.
The DA’s office has yet to confirm that the man, who was found dead on the street located on the northbound side of the Tobin Tuesday morning around 9 a.m., did in fact, jump to his death off the bridge. Authorities were investigating the man’s death Tuesday morning, a spokesperson with the DA’s told BostInno at the time.
