Without a doubt, Boston loves beer (the understatement of the year). And it’s no wonder –considering the number of top-notch craft breweries and bars, located just a hop, skip and a jump away from our homes.

So, it should come as no surprise that three Boston-area bars were included in Draft magazine’s latest 2015 list of America’s 100 Best Beer Bars. These craft beer bar destinations included the Inman Square saloon, Lord Hobo as well as the Allston watering hole, Deep Ellum and the Brookline favorite, The Publick House.

Draft magazine claims, “On our annual hunt for the country’s top beer bars, it became clear that craft beer is everywhere, from gas stations to grocery stores. Best of all, we saw hundreds of beer bars with inspiring selections, well-versed bartenders and perfectly poured pints all across the country.”

All three Boston-area bars are known for their extensive beer list. Lord Hobo offers over 40 draft beers and a wide selection of bottled craft brews. Deep Ellum features a large number of “daily drafts” and tons of bottled beer including many Trappist and Abbey style ales. The Publick House is Brookline’s go-to pub for all things beer (and food) related. The bar’s Belgium beer list, in particular, is worth a trip on the Green line.

So, now you know (if you didn’t already) where to find the best craft beer bars in the Boston-area.

If you go, Deep Ellum is located at 477 Cambridge St. in Boston; Lord Hobo is located at 92 Hampshire St. in Cambridge; The Publick House is located at 1648 Beacon St. in Brookline.
