If you’re sticking around the city this weekend, prepare yourself – it’s going to be a busy one! Between the Marathon and Easter Boston will be slammed, but don’t let that ruin your fun!

Here’s your guide to Marathon/Easter Weekend in Boston…

Plan ahead & make reservations!

If you’re heading out plan ahead & make reservations. Know the best route (avoid driving on Storrow & Boylston at all costs) or better yet, take the T. Reservations (at normal hours) are still available, you’ve just got to know where to look and grab them NOW.

Easter Sunday:
Anthem Kitchen + Bar
Gather
M.J. O’Connor’s Back Bay & Waterfront

Marathon Monday:

M.J. O’Connor’s Back Bay & Waterfront
City Table – opening their doors at 6:30am
Solas – open to the public at 4pm

(Sorry, no reservations at City Table or City Bar– you’ve just gotta plan ahead and get there early)

Join in the fun!

Drink 26.2 Brew – The beloved Samuel Adams Marathon themed brew is back! 26.2 Brew is a Gose style dating back to the year 700, with light cereal notes from malted and unmalted wheat, rounded out by a spicy, peppery character with a soft mineral quality from a touch of salt – yum! Plus all proceeds benefit the Greg Hill Foundation.

Find it at Anthem Kitchen + Bar, M.J. O’Connor’s Back Bay and Solas.

Carbo Load – Best part of running a marathon (or so we’ve heard) is loading up on delicious carbs! So if you’re looking to carbo load before the big race (or just love pasta and a good deal!) visit Anthem Kitchen + Bar on Sunday for all you can eat pasta for just $10!

Drink Harpoon IPA – For every pint ordered, Harpoon will donate $1 to the Stepping Strong Fund in honor the marathon bombing victims – only at participating bars including, M.J. O’Connor’s Back Bay (all Marathon Monday) and Solas (after 4pm).

Avoid the Crowd:

If you’d rather avoid the crowd at all costs, but don’t want to be a hermit all weekend, look outside the city! The Green Briar Pub in Brighton will have a DJ Friday & Saturday and daily food specials – and if the weather warms up enjoy the patio!

Enjoy the LONG weekend, Boston!
