Eating the same late night food weekend after weekend is boring.

When it comes to late night food, we’re all guilty of stuffing our faces with a midnight grilled cheese and (admit it) a huge side of cheese fries. You know it’s true. But as delicious as that always is – it may be time to spice up your late night dining with something more adult.

How about something like hush puppies, fried flounder sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, crispy pig ears, and banana pudding? That’s what you’ll find at Fairsted Kitchen in Brookline’s Washington Square. This month the restaurant began offering a unique late night menu that also happens to rotate monthly.

This means that a monthly visit to Fairsted Kitchen is in order. An official source also tell us “like a restaurant within a restaurant, the condensed menu will feature five dishes – four savory and one sweet.” This month’s late night concept is referred to as  “Ma’ Dukes: Southern-Style Late Night” and should include all of those dishes mentioned above, which are (of course) subject to change.

In May, we can expect an “Indochine: Southeast Asian Street Food” theme and in June, a  “Beacon Street Spa: Sandwich Shoppe” concept.

Fun, creative and delicious – we’re looking forward to trying Fairsted Kitchen’s late night treats. The restaurant stays open until 2 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday nights – so start planning your visit now.
