February has gotten off to quite the exciting start. The Patriots won the Super Bowl, the second snow storm in one week resulted in the snowiest week in Boston’s history, and now, we’re all dealing with the consequences. But if you’re dreaming of warmer temps, we have some things to do coming up in the city guaranteed to heat up your month.

Here are the best events happening in February that you won’t want to miss. (And gentlemaen: Don’t forget Valentine’s Day is coming up, too.)

Samuel Adams Cold Snap Party

February 7; Sam Adams Brewery

Join Sam Adams for an indoor picnic party in celebration of their Cold Snap brew. There will be exclusive brews, food and live music. Tickets are $30 and come with one beer, four beer tastings and food. The event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m.

Slope Fest

February 13-15; The Lawn on D

Part of The Lawn on D’s Winter on D events, Slope Fest will bring a two-story snow slope to the area, with tubing available during the day. Frost Ice Bar will be bringing a bar made out of ice, naturally, to the event, with beer, wine and hot chocolate available. There will also be Latin dance performances as well as two shows by the SnowRiders, a team of skiers and snowboarders showing off tricks in the air.

The Boston Wine Expo

Experience more than 2,000 wines from 200 different wineries around the world. A ticket gets you a pass to taste all the wines you want – reds, whites, rosés and bubblies – as well as snacks, cheeses and other bites. Get to know the teams at the wineries and learn about hundreds of different wine profiles and flavors.

Hotel Week

February 15-22; Multiple locations

Rather than a single event, Hotel Week is a spree of hotel discounts happening around the city – but you still don’t want to miss out. Discounted hotel rooms, plus perks for staying, will pop up at the biggest hotels. Need a staycation? So do we.

6th Annual Boston Chili Cup

February 19; Ned Devine’s

If the February chill gets to you this month, grab a ticket to the 6th Annual Boston Chili Cup at Ned Devine’s. Local restaurants, like Anthem, Tap Trailhouse, Central Wharf Co. and Clery’s, will be cooking up their best chilis to try to win the popular vote. Proceeds from the event will benefit Community Work Services.

19th Annual Red Carpet Gala

February 22; Fairmont Copley Plaza

Looking to celebrate the Oscars in major style? The Ellie Fund is hosting its 19th Annual Red Carpet Gala before an exclusive viewing of the show. The night will entail film, food, fashion and fundraising – all proceeds will benefit the Ellie Fund.

Boston Beer and Cheese Fest

February 27 & 28; Space 57

Don’t think beer goes with cheese as well as wine? The Beer and Cheese Fest aims to change that. There will be 20 craft beer and cider pairings with cheeses from eight local creameries. Food from Roxy’s Grilled Cheese and KO Pies will also be on hand to fill you up. Tickets are running very low for this event.
