Since novelist Jo Piazza’s book Love Rehab launched over the summer, she’s been organizing fitness classes (at places like Flywheel in NYC) to help women – and a few men – sweat out their past relationship woes. During class, get-over-your-ex songs by Adele, Rihanna, Fall Out Boy, and Katy Perry (if  “Roar” isn’t an empowering anthem, I don’t know what is) blare from the speakers.

The takeaway? Put down the Ben and Jerry’s and get into your spandex.
