News of the tragic deaths of Boston Firefighters Michael Kennedy and Lieutenant Edward Walsh has already spread across the city, throughout Massachusetts and across the country. To honor firefighters Kennedy and Walsh, fire departments from Duxbury to Los Angeleshave offered their thoughts and prayers on Twitter, posting BFD Line of Duty Death (LODD) badges.
Lt. Walsh, 43, and Kennedy, 33, were both out of Boston’s Engine 33. In their honor, the BFD Twitter handle now looks like this.
