If your ideal weekend is watching the Patriots game while noshing on a plate of wings, you’re not alone.

Many Bostonians will be nose-deep in buffalo (or sweet honey) sauce on Saturday afternoon. However, if you are planning on forgoing your New Year’s resolution to be healthier for a few hours, why not sweat off those impending calories at one of these healthy Hub events?

Some are free, but all are waiting for you.

1. Complimentary yoga at Lululemon

Where: Lululemon Athletica store, Prudential Center

When: Sunday, 10 a.m.

Why you should go: Two words: Free yoga. Take advantage of this complimentary class at one of the most popular athletic apparel stores. Namaste!

2. American Fresh 5k Run And Walk

Where: American Fresh Assembly Row, 301 Canal Street, Assembly Row, Somerville

When: Sunday, 11 a.m.

Why you should go: Everyone is welcome to join in this free race on Sunday in Somerville. The 3.1-mile run or walk will go along the Mystic River and through the Assembly Row area, according to their Facebook page.

American Fresh Assembly Row will even offer storage for your belongings, water post and pre-race, as well as snacks for participants!

3. Fudgcicle 5K

Where: Tewksbury Memorial High School, Pleasant Street, Tewksbury

When: Saturday, 8 a.m.

Why you should go: This is a no frills type of road race. Don’t expect to see water stations or bibs that clock your time. If you’re looking for some good old fashioned community running, this meet up is for you!

4. 5K Resolution Run to Kick Cancer

Where: Lexington High School Field House, 251 Waltham St., Lexington

When: Saturday, 9 a.m. (packet pickup), 11 a.m. (race start)

Why you should go: Bundle up and pound the pavement this weekend all for a good cause. This is the sixth annual race which, according to their site, benefits “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.”

5. Free Power Yoga at Athleta Chestnut Hill 

Where: 220 Bolyston Street, Chestnut Hill

When: Saturday, 9 to 10 a.m.

Why you should go: Again with the free yoga, what are you waiting for? This more challenging practice will help you strengthen and stretch before you hunker down to watch the Patriots game.
