Your fitness routine could be well-established. Or maybe you’re just now getting on top of those resolutions (no judgment). Either way, outfitting yourself in the right workout gear is key. Here’s what you should wear, where.

Yoga
The Bra: No need for industrial strength. Pick a comfortable yoga bra that wicks away sweat while still giving you some lift and shape.
The Shirt: Wear a breathable tank that fits close to the body. Anything too loose on top could leave you exposed during Downward Dog.
The Bottoms: Options are endless, but the fail-safe for practicing Vinyasa? A pair of classic black yoga pants with a slight boot-cut.

Indoor Cycling
The Bra: Choose a sports bra with moderate support that will stay put (read: won’t chafe) once the sweat starts pouring.
The Shirt: Find that not-too-tight, not-too-loose balance. You want a shirt that will simultaneously soak up sweat and allow for ventilation.
The Bottoms: Fitted, sweat-wicking capris are what SoulCycle instructor Allie Fell recommended to FitSugar. Avoid loose bottoms that could interfere with the bike.

Running
The Bra: Running is the definition of high impact. You’ll want a supportive bra with some structure and adjustability to help it stay secure (and pain free).
The Shirt: Get a moisture-wicking tee that allows for comfortable movement as you’re swinging your arms.
The Bottoms: Try a pair of compression pants. Studies show they improve circulation and can even slightly improve your performance.
