Did you miss out on the second annual New England Venture Capitol Association‘s Awards (NEVY’s) ceremony Wednesday night? Don’t worry, some ofIDEA’s team was there and we’ve got you covered.

From a Rock & Roll theme to singing “Sweet Caroline”, the House of Blues was alive with 700 Vcs and Entrepreneurs all out to celebrate NEVCA and the winners of the 2014 NEVYs. Executive DirectorC.A. Webb invited past NEVY winners and industry professionals to hand out the 17 awards to healthcare and tech companies. Awards ranged from “Angle of the Year” to an “Impact Award”, and everything in between.

The event was presented by IDA Ireland and Johnson & Johnson Innovation Center in addition to Tesla, a Special Event partner that offered free test drives to attendees. NEVCA prides itself on the fact that the NEVYs are more than an awards ceremony, they are a celebration of entrepreneurship as a whole. The night kicked off with an opportunity to network and meet the nominees, it finished off with a dance party. There was even a surprise welcome by Governor Deval Patrick.
