I’m just going to come out and say it: I’m not a fan of bangs. Even though they’ve been on almost every red carpet and runway this season, it’s just not a look many women can pull off. And it’s definitely not a look this writer can pull off.
Am I jealous of those women with the just-right forehead square footage for little front fringe? You bet. Bettie Page’s blunt bangs. Farrah Fawcett’s feathered ones. Reese Witherspoon’s wispy look. Total envy. So while no, I won’t be taking scissors to my hair anytime soon, I can still appreciate good bangs when I see them – and this list is chock-full of them. I’ll just admire from afar.
