The Miami Heat sizzled last night as they walked into game 4 of the NBA finals at San Antonio’s AT&T Center and walked out with a series tying victory 109-93. The NBA finals are now locked at two games apiece for both the Heat and Spurs as LeBron et al. will try and one up the team from Texas in game 5 on Sunday still in San Antonio. Dade County’s “big 3” lived up to the hype but words alone can’t describe the hardwood brilliance orchestrated by King James so check out the NBA finals highlights below.

LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh put up 85 points between the to give Miami some momentum going into game 5, and even Boston’s Benedict Arnold Ray Allen looked as if he had drain-o in his eyes, chalking up 14 pts for the Heat in this bout. To go along with his 33 pts, James pulled down 11 rebounds while handing out 4 assists; Wade had a hand in everything, posting 32, dishing out 6 assists to go along with 6 steals.

The stoic San Antonio Spurs, owners of four NBA championships, lacked the spark that gave them W’s in games one and three. Tim Duncan led the Spurs in points from the paint, posting 20 but was beat on the boards snagging only 5 rebounds. Point guard Tony Parker had 15 points to accompany his 9 assists, though it just wasn’t enough as Miami was aided by players off the bench while San Antonio stalled completely.

Important implications hinder on game 5 this Sunday, June 16, as San Antonio can’t afford to lose again especially since game 6 will bring the series back to South Beach. A 3-2 series going into Miami will give the Heat serious home-court advantage as James and company will likely thrive in hostile atmosphere. However the Spurs are used to the pressure, walking into the AmericanAirlines Arena for game 1 and punching the NBA’s best record team right in the mouth.

The way the finals are going could mean a thrilling seven game series, so be sure to check back with BostInno for the latest news and highlights from the 2013 NBA finals.
