Boston is home to some of the most prestigious practicing musicians in the country, yet how often do you get yourself to a Berklee concert? We’re guessing not often enough. Thanks to Celebrity Series, however, that could change.

Tickets go on sale today, January 12, for the Stave Sessions, Celebrity Series’ and Berklee College of Music’s concert series collaboration. The sessions will resemble a music festival of sorts, tapping into Berklee’s wealth of performers to bring Boston’s rising talents to the forefront. Taking place from March 15 to 21, the series will hold concerts of all genres at 160 Mass. Ave, an intimate venue perfect for discovering your new favorite artists.

According to Celebrity Series, the Stave Sessions are meant to “close the gap between audience and performer.” Per the press release:

Stave Sessions will close the gap between audience and performer by awakening the creative spirit throughout this new musical series. … [It] will engage Boston’s ‘creative class’ by building on partnerships with young professional groups and cultural organizations.

You can expect a broad range of genres out of the Stave Sessions, from jazz, folk, pop to Brazilian bossa and Tuvan throat singing. For the full list of artists and genres appearing over the course of the week, see the full schedule below. Tickets to each performance are $35 for lounge seating, or $20 for balcony standing. Food and drinks, including a specialty Stave Sessions cocktail, will be available during the shows. Tickets can be purchased through Celebrity Series.
