If you live in Boston and go through more bottles of wine than you’d care to admit, then it’s time to download the Drizly app right now (if you haven’t already). The alcohol-delivery service became particularly convenient for my friends and me during the winter months – as no one wanted to walk to the liquor store in 7 degree temps. Thank god for Drizly.

And now, with their new Gilt City deal, the app is prepared to make it rain all year long with beer, wine and spirits. The deal won’t cost you a penny and ensures one year of alcohol delivery, with delivery fees waived, from Drizly. That’s an entire year of FREE alcohol delivery straight to your door.

The catch? A $20 minimum order does apply. Though, we’re pretty sure you can handle stocking up on two or three nice bottles of wine, a handle of liquor or a 24-pack of beer. Might as well make that alcohol order count and last a good while.

For those unfamiliar with Drizly, you should know that the app partners with local local liquor stores in and around the Hub to bring libations straight to your doorstep within 20 to 40 minutes. A delivery system for alcohol that operates seven days a week, allowing users to place orders right on their smart phones.

You can grab the Gilt City deal between now and next Wednesday, April 9. The deal will expire next April 2015 – giving you one full year of free alcohol delivery. And the service also delivers to areas outside of the Boston city limits including Arlington, Cambridge, Newton, Brookline, Brighton, Charlestown and more.
