Starting today, Boston’s own Harpoon Brewery is taking itself on a little #HarpoonRoadTrip south of the Mason-Dixon line.

According to the brewery’s website, Harpoon representatives will take off on a “3,400 mile roundtrip journey from Boston to Key West, Florida and back (with many stops in between).”

Last week the brewery also tweeted the news out to its followers, stating:

The exciting road trip down Route 95 will cover 6 stops in 3 southern states. First the #HarpoonRoadTrip will set off for Charleston, SC from February 18 to February 19, followed by a quick drive down the road to nearby Savannah, Georgia from February 20 to February 22. And finally, the road trip will make their last stops in Florida (Key West, Delray Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and Ft. Myers) from February 24 through March 1.

You can see their more detailed schedule here.

The #HarpoonRoadTrip will include various office visits, Harpoon Helps charity events, “tap takeovers and hometown brewery visits,” according to the website. And they’re essentially giving southerners, who can’t make the trip to Boston or Windsor, VT, a taste of Harpoon’s brews and brewery experience.

You can also keep your eye out on the road trip by following them on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram using the hashtag, #harpoonroadtrip. In the meantime, while the South gets toasty with their Winter Warmers, we plan to get through these frigid temps with The Long Thaw White IPA – and plenty of it!
