The nightspot across street from Fenway Park closed voluntarily on Wednesday after news of the overdoses broke.
Officials at the Boston Licensing Board indicated Wednesday that they would hold a hearing regarding the management of the House of Blues sometime next week. Anderson could not confirm the meeting.
Zedd, the electronic DJ and producer, was scheduled to perform his second concert at the House of Blues Wednesday night:

Flannigan and the two other overdose victims, a man in his mid 20’s and a 24-year old woman, are believed to have attended Zedd’s first concert on Tuesday.
Police reported the overdoses just after midnight on Wednesday. Flanigan, and the two other victims were transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center early Wednesday morning. Flannigan was pronounced dead while being transported. The others are reported to be in serious condition.
Zedd offered his sympathy to those affected via Twitter:
Love and respect to those in pain right now. Our hearts go out to you.

The substance used by the victims has not been confirmed. According to police reports, an ER nurse found two pink pills in Flannigan’s jean pockets in addition to a white powder substance.
Toxicology reports are pending.
