The fun, innovative, newsy stuff happening right around you.

Alright, ready for some news bites? But first, share the love, please!Departed: Boston bid a hearty farewell to April. Did you see that 53 Boston startups raised over $2B last month?

Tomorrow’s Ideas: The eighth-annual Presidential Innovation Challenge at Harvard University concluded with an ambitious display of innovative enterprises. E(T)iquette: File this under daily dose of T update: The MBTA wants to give riders a lesson in etiquette and manners. Don’t worry, this is not MBTA being uppity — quite the opposite. It’s the result of user poll which suggested most riders would prefer a message reminding people to “let riders out” before boarding a train.
