As tech junkies eagerly await the iOS 7 release date and the release of iOS 7 beta 5, Apple has announced plans to restore the rest of its developer center after a series of hacks and security breaches. The announcement came in the form of an email to its registered developers, though 9to5mac was able to get their hands on it.

As you’ll see in the screenshot of the email above, most of the services including Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, Dev Centers, software downloads, Videos, Apple Developer Forums, iTunes Connect, Bug Reporter, App Store Resource Center, and access to pre-release documentation have all been restored and are back up online running smoothly.

All that’s left to iron out the kinks for are Xcode automatic configuration, access to license agreements, TSIs, program enrollments, and renewals in Member Center.

The security breach happened about three weeks ago and Apple is still in the recovery process. The entire developer center was offline for about a week before Apple made an announcement to systematically reinstate certain aspects of the center, though it didn’t mention anything in terms of a timeline.

The latest announcement comes just as many Apple devs and its loyal fan base are awaiting the fifth beta version release of Apple’s flagship mobile operating system, iOS 7. Expected to launch sometime this fall alongside the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, and possibly iPad refreshes, iOS 7 will boast a number of features sure to tickle the fancy of Apple loyalists including App Nap, Compressed Memory, Multitasking, Siri, Tabbed Finder, full screen dual monitor capabilities, Safari improvements, and a new Maps app.

Devs are also keeping an eye out for the latest beta version of OS X Mavericks, as both are released on a predictable 2 week basis. Like iOS 7 beta 5, OS X Mavericks’s version will likely only offer small bug fixes. However, due to the recent trouble with developer center, Apple’s schedule was slightly interrupted and one beta version skipped a week two weeks ago. Stay tuned to BostInno for the latest information regarding beta releases for both OS X Mavericks and iOs 7.
