As we inch through the sweltering summer and closer to the fall, more and more leaked photos of the Apple iPhone 5S are sure to surface. This time, a new collection of interior shots are making the internet rounds showing a larger-capacity battery, a next-gen A7 processor, and dual-LED flash. And with the iPhone 5S release date approaching, buzz is high.

Rumor mill site and leak blog Mac Rumors was the first to leak the new photos, though Venture Beat suggests the snapshots could have come from as early as December, possibly rendering the models in question early-stage prototypes.

As you’ll see, the chip is branded with Apple model number of APL0698 suggesting it’s a next-generation A7 because of the simple fact that the A6 chip carried a model number of APL0598 and the A6X found in the fourth-generation iPad carrying an APL5598 model number.

Mac Rumors continues further that “Additional markings on this new iPhone 5S chip indicate that it carries Elpida DRAM, apparently in the same 1 GB amount seen on the A6” which allows for high-density, single-transistor advantages.

The dual-LED flash will be a smart move for Apple in its next-generation flagship iPhone 5S as more refined imaging technology is the move most smartphone manufacturers are making in order to differentiate their respective devices in a rather saturated high-end market. Apple has been openly called out for its camera in commercials and ad spots by both Samsung and Nokia to promote their Galaxy S4 and  Lumia 928 line and seeing as how Apple’s marketshare is constantly falling to that of Samsung’s a camera upgrade is just what the company and its users need.

A more robust battery is an improvement for any electronics maker, though it’s here again that Apple falls short to Samsung’s GS4. Though it trails Samsung’s flagship, it’s not by much. The GS4 boasts a larger CPU, with more RAM and Storage so really its battery should outlast that of the iPhone’s by default but if Apple can close the gap further or even surpass the battery life with the iPhone 5S, things can only bode well for sales and customer satisfaction.
