Concord-based Isabella Products, makers of consumer mobile internet devices, is certainly a company to watch in 2011. Today the company is in Las Vegas at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), unveiling their new product – the Mini.

Isabella’s first product, the Vizit, is the world’s first wirelessly enabled digital photo frame, and the Mini targets the millions of photo frames and other digital displays that aren’t yet connected. Powered by the AT&T broadband network, Mini is a small wirelessly connected USB device that you can be plug into most digital photo frames, TVs, or other displays, making them wirelessly connected to receive photos over the air, in real-time. Isabella says the device will be available in the second quarter of this year.

The announcement of the Mini comes just months after Isabella Products announced a partnership with Houghton Mifflin to release the world’s first wireless tablet for children – the Fable – which will also be available in mid-2011.

“The flexibility of the VizitMe.com platform allows us to effectively connect unconnected USB-enabled digital photo frames through a pocket-sized mobile device like Mini so consumers can enjoy real-time photo sharing,” said Founder and CEO Matthew Growney.

The Mini can also be connected to Isabella’s VizitMe content management system, where Vizit owners can upload photos and store their collection, as well as manage who they share photos with.

On top of enabling friends and family to deliver photos to a frame or display from their mobile phone over MMS or via email, the company says the Mini will is also be able to receive third party content from partners like Photobucket and LIFE.com.

Glenn Lurie, president of emerging devices at AT&T added, “By connecting over the AT&T mobile broadband network, photo frames no longer need to sit idle. We look forward to helping redefine photo-sharing for families across the nation.”
