There are about a thousand tips our Fashion Director, Jackie, could offer with the onslaught of the holidays upon us. But most importantly? We want the details on how she’s going about her annual cocktail party. From updos to décor, here’s her advice for a sure-to-impress festive affair.

To Wear
Dress: “I’m always inclined to go more adventurous with my wardrobe during the holidays. That’s why I love this pink dress. The flirty bow detail and bright color are so fun and help me break out of my LBD shell.”

Hair: “Obsessed is the only way to describe my relationship with sock buns. They’re super easy, require no upkeep, and keep my hair out of the way while I’m busy mingling.”

Accessories: “You’ll always find me in heels (the higher the better), and this iridescent pointed-toe pump is my kind of shoe. Especially once it’s paired with a sparkly clutch.”

To Host
Theme: “The typical red and green is everywhere already, so instead I’m opting for metallic décor in silver and gold. A few twinkle lights around the space also help make it really festive.”

Serveware: “Sticking with the metallic theme, this golden tray and bowl make hosting easy. After doing one round of passed appetizers, all I have to do is leave it on the table for guests to pick from.”
