Tonight, anyone who’s anyone is at the Beverly Hilton for the 2015 Golden Globes. And anyone who’s watching was probably keeping an eye out on the red carpet for Jennifer Lawrence, everyone’s favorite award show actress. But, she didn’t make an appearance – not even to redeem herself sartorially for last year’s dismal Dior Haute Couture dress.

Turns out, Lawrence has a solid alibi, at least for Bostonians. According to Bricco’s PR rep, Nicole Russo, the star was spotted dining at the popular North End restaurant. Russo told BostInno via Twitter that she received a text from Bricco’s manager, disclosing the star’s Sunday night location.

We’re still waiting on any photographic evidence, but Russo tells BostInno that Lawrence ordered the branzino – a whole, roasted fish, including the head and tail – and she and her crew were “down to earth and nice to the staff.”

It’s safe to assume that Lawrence is in town because she’s filming a second project led by David O’Russell. The director is working on “Joy,” a film about a Long Island mother who becomes a successful entrepreneur. The movie films in Boston, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly signed on to the project, along with Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro, according to IMDb (“Silver Linings Playbook” remake, anyone?”).
