Get excited! Somerville has a new brunch in town. Today, May 18, Chef Tony Maws will be launching Kirkland Tap & Trotter’s Sunday brunch with a few breakfast favorites as well as some unique brunch items. Zagat Boston is reporting that the new brunch will also “include a kid’s menu with illustrations by chef Maws’ son.” Aw.

If you head to Kirkland Tap & Trotter for brunch, here’s what you can expect. The menu serves up everything from simple scrambled eggs to hot dog hash and whole wheat pancakes. An abbreviated yet satisfying menu, you’ll even find a Grass-fed cheeseburger with Kimchee Russian dressing on the list of featured entrees.
