There’s no denying that Hollywood-trainwreck-turned-style-icon Nicole Richie knows boho – or, what Vogue Daily calls “L.A. vintage.” The mother of three sat with Vogue‘s Lynn Yaeger to talk about her love for the 1970s-inspired, Joni-Mitchell-meets-Manolos style that she sports so well.

“I love the overall freedom of that time, the freedom of dressing back then!” Richie says. “The idea of clashing didn’t exist. I am a huge fan of classic rock, and I love the relationship between the music and the clothes.”
