Well folks, your salvation is finally here. With the weekend just hours away, everything good is about to happen after midnight. And you may be wondering what to do with your free night. My guess is you’ve had a fairly arduous work week, but you won’t let that stop you from turning Friday or Saturday night into a late night on the town. You absolutely refuse to experience FOMO this weekend.

But clubbing is definitely out. No way are you down to “untz untz” tonight – your head would probably explode. Not to mention, the $20 cover charge – no thanks. And standing around at a bar hoping to catch the eye of someone cute really doesn’t sound all that appealing, either. So, what to do?

Head to Toad in Cambridge. It’s a bit of all of the above melded together to create your perfect weekend night (after midnight). For one, you can hear live music that won’t send your head spinning. This Friday night catch the funk bluegrass band, “Cold Chocolate”, performing live at Toad. Or on Saturday, swing by around 10pm to hear the folkish indie rock band, “Fancy Trash” bang out some tunes live on stage.

And second, you can eat and enjoy the merriment of friends and strangers while listening to great music. All without a cover charge (this is clutch).

Toad is open until 2am on the weekend and serves up delicious burgers as well as a wide assortment of local Boston area beers including Jack’s Abby Smoke & Dagger Nitro Black Lager, a Cambridge Brewing Pumpkin Ale and even, Slumbrew Porter Square Porter. Toad’s beer selection, live music and fun ambience will keep your night going (and going..) well after midnight.
