Attention Boston, your newest premiere comedy club is inviting you to go ahead and laugh… for FREE. The owners of Laugh Boston are inviting Bostonians to free comedy previews on September 13th and 14th. The shows will feature comedians, Jimmy Dunn, Kelly MacFarland and Harrison Stebbins. The sneak peek tickets are going quickly, but there are still some left for the 10pm showings. Act fast because if your miss the preview shows, you’ll have to wait another week for the comedy club to officially open its doors on September 21st at The Westin Boston Waterfront.

If you’ve hit the bottom of the comedy club barrel in Boston, this will certainly give you something to look forward to this fall. Whether it’s a good date option, a night out on the town, or a bachelorette celebration, a comedy club always makes for great entertainment. Laugh Boston’s owner, Chet Harding, explained in a press release that the Boston “comedy scene took a huge hit when The Comedy Connection closed a number of years ago, and with the closing of the historic Dick Doherty’s Beantown Vault just last month, Boston needs its own comedy club more than ever.”

Chet Harding owns Laugh Boston along with his two partners, Norm Laviolette and John Tobin. If either names, Harding or Laviolette, sound familiar to you, it’s probably because you’ve already visited their North End establishment, Improv Asylum – one of Boston’s most well-known comedy improv and sketch clubs. Also known as the basement of the CVS on Hanover Street.

Tickets to Laugh Boston’s first few shows are now available. Check out the dates and information on their website or Facebook. Harding hopes the venue, which seats over 300, will be “a place that comedy in Boston can call home.”
