Legoland Discovery Center Boston opened at Assembly Row this past May, and those who visited (with a child in tow, because lone adults can only enter the center on special nights) were treated to a virtual tour of the factory, interactive rides, and the pičce de résistance: a mini Boston built entirely out of Lego.

Complete with a Hatch Shell, a Fenway Park, and more Boston monuments, the structure is a marvel to study down to the finite detail as the setting switches from day to night. Now, the mini Boston has expanded to include a certain Foxboro landmark: Gillette Stadium.

In a press release, Legoland Discovery Center Boston General Manager David Gilmore said:

Gillette Stadium is home to one of our favorite championship teams, so it’s only fitting that it will have a spot in Miniland. Along Fenway Park and TD Garden, Miniland now will feature the homes of each of our four major professional teams.

The mini Gillette is a 19-square-foot model that stands at 5’9″x 3’2″. It took Lego builders 380 hours to put together, and it includes details like the Lighthouse, video scoreboard, concourses, bathrooms and locker rooms. Minifigures (meaning a Lego Tom Brady) are on the field, and there are 500 seats in the stand.

The Gillette Stadium model is now able to view at Miniland, but as we mentioned, adults are only permitted on monthly Adult Nights. Otherwise, you must have a kid in tow. Tickets can only be purchased online in advance here.
