As if taking cues from Daft Punks Random Access Memories album released in May, Kanye West’s sixth studio album Yeezus leaked online today. The highly-anticipated release by the controversial and polarizing Kim Kardashian baby-daddy wasn’t due to hit the airwaves until June 18. You can find the album available at this Swedish site.

USA Today had just estimated that Yeezus was “expected to sell 500,000 copies its first week,” and while still possible, that same amount of people could already have their hands on bootleg copies by the time the album actually drops.

The Huffington Post, who is basically taunting their readers and Kanye fans that they heard the album at a pre-release party, is able to verify that the leaked version is correct, noting today that “The Huffington Post has heard the album and, by cross-checking it across the version played at West’s listening party Monday night, can verify that it seems legitimate. We’re not posting links to the leak, though, so happy hunting.”

Kanye might be an attention whore but he’ no fool when it comes to leaks. He and everything-mogul Jay-Z went to plenty of lengths to protect their album Watch the Throne back in 2011.

West also skipped the preorder or pre-release iTunes stream process, according to the HuffPo, stages that reportedly resulted in leaks of the National and Daft Punk‘s respective albums.

West has recently teased tracks like “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves” at live performances such as on SNL, perhaps adding to the fact that while not a model citizen by any means, having allegedly cheated on his boo and comparing himself to Steve Jobs— oh and then there was that whole “George Bush hates black people” thing and the Taylor Swift incident–he’s certianly got a flair for showmanship.
