The Aaron Hernandez arraignment is set for around 2pm ET this afternoon at the Fall River Superior Court and you can live stream the proceedings below. Hernandez was indicted last month on charges of first-degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd, 27, as well as five gun charges. Lloyd was found dead in a North Attleboro, MA industrial park not far from the home of Hernandez.

It’s possible the prosecution will ask for Hernandez to be held on bail, which he has not been throughout the entire duration in his 7-by-10-foot accommodations. However, as you’ll see in the Tweet below, that request is unlikely to be rewarded.

According to a recent report by the Hartford Courant, new evidence has surfaced that links the former New England patriot tight end to a 2012 double-murder involving two Dorchester residents who were shot to death in a drive-by. The Courant cited multiple law “enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation” for the new information. If proven to be accurate, it would be an important piece in possibly linking Hernandez to the scene of the crime. Charges have yet to be filed.

As the evidence continues to mount against Hernandez though it’s important to note that the majority of it is circumstantial, perhaps pointing to Hernandez as the gunman but not confirming so. Still, it’s hard to argue with what we know.

A rented vehicle found at the crime scene was registered in Hernandez’s name and he proceeded to destroy as much home-surveillance and cellphone evidence as possible, though a photo courtesy of that same surveillance shows Hernandez holding a firearm that appears to be a .45-caliber Glock which happens to be the same match to the weapon that killed Lloyd. It has yet to be recovered.
