Day 2 of E3 2013 will be picking off right where day 1 left off at 1oam PT/1pm ET today in sunny Los Angeles. Yesterday revealed plenty of video games sure to tickle even the most demanding of gamer’s fancy with titles ranging from Need for Speed Rivals for those who, well, need speed, to shoot ’em up games like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and the popular wartime-set Call of Duty: Ghosts. As for what’s on tap today, you’ll have to check out our E3 day 2 live stream to find out what games will be announced online today.

The three aforementioned headliner games from yesterday showed the best of what game developers are offering console manufacturers and users this year. With sprawling maps bolstered by plenty of plot twists and new characters, it looks as if all the games to be announced today and the next few days will feature more than enough game-play enrichment courtesy high-end graphic engines, expansive map exploration motivators, seamless settings changes.

Today looks to be more of the same, if not better, with the likes of Wolfenstein: The New World Order, Killzone: Mercenary, and Splinter Cell: Blacklist set to hit the stage later this afternoon.

As for the perpetual console war between rivals Microsoft and Sony over their respective Xbox One and PlayStation 4, things are only starting to heat up. A rough Twitter poll earlier this week by GameSpot revealed that most in the Twittersphere are overwhelmingly in favor of the PS4 with 79% of respondents for Sony’s console and an unusually low 21% for Microsoft’s Xbox One.

But we’ve heard from all the nerds at E3 and now I want to turn it over to you loyal readers and closet gamers out there. Which console do you think will prevail in the rivalry, the Xbox One or PlayStation 4? Which game are you looking forward to seeing announced the most? Which game do you think looks the best so far?
