If you’ve spent the last two-plus-decades envying the shiny locks donned by Jennifer Aniston, prepare to incorporate some new haircare products into your routine. The Living Proof Style Lab, which lists Aniston as a co-owner, officially opens today in Cambridge.

Living Proof is a line of products – shampoos, conditioners, serums, treatments and more – designed to promote healthy hair thanks to the highly scientific process that goes into the production. The new testing lab and retail store, after all, purposely refers to itself as a “lab,” citing their products’ inception: “Our products started out as molecules in our labs. Molecules that were invented, synthesized, analyzed, and patented,” reads the website.

Living Proof’s products are available in salons nationwide, as well as Sephora and Ulta stores. The Cambridge style lab, which was delayed from a slated September opening, is the company’s first, and, according to Boston Magazine, the style lab concept is meant to be Living Proof’s “consumer-facing arm.” The company’s office space and formal labs are also located in Kendall Square.

Today marks the Style Lab’s grand opening, and the first 50 customers through the door will receive a free product. Shampoos and conditioners made by Living Proof run between $10-24, while serums and treatments can run between $30-40.

After all, if you want hair like Jennifer Aniston’s, you’re going to have to pay for it.
