If you’re a fan of the delicious and oh-so-delicate French dessert, then get excited! Miam Miam Macaronerie, a macaron shop, plans to open in South Boston sometime soon.

According to their website, Miam-miam is pronounced “mee-yahm mee-yahm” and is french for “yummy.” The term “macaronerie” is french for a bakery specializing in macarons. So, together “you’ve got the yummiest macaron shop coming soon to Boston,” per the description.

This “yummy macaron shop” will serve up all sorts of tasty macaron flavors including: cherry, salted caramel, praline, apricot, fig and more. Currently, the shop is accepting online orders per their menu. A box of 12 macarons will cost you $24 – so savor them while you can.

Eater Boston also reported that the co-owner, Jennifer Lauren Turner, “was behind the now-closed Blue Tierra Chocolate Cafe.” She and Nicole C. Raukohl (Miam’s other co-owner) bonded over a “mutual love of the macaron.”

The Miam Miam website indicates that the storefront is coming soon – so stay tuned for the exact location. For now, satisfy your sweet tooth by ordering their macarons online.
