Over the years Macaulay Culkin has made quite the transition from “Home Alone” Kevin to kazoo-playing band member.

And now it looks like the beloved child star will be making a very cheesy appearance with his Velvet Underground cover band, “The Pizza Underground” at Church on Saturday, April 19.

Needless to say, the band sings about America’s favorite food: Pizza. And it looks like the band is making waves with their first music video released last month. It’s described as an “extravagantly weird video… a medley of various Velvet Underground songs adapted to be about the cheesy treat.”

For instance, their songs include “All the Pizza Parties,” which is a twist on the Velvets’ song, “All Tomorrow’s Parties,” as noted by Ticketfly. Another example is the Velvet Underground’s “Walk On the Wild Side,” covered by The Pizza Underground as “‘Take a Bite of the Wild Slice.” Sounds better than the original to me.

Apparently, Macaulay Culkin not only sings in the band but also plays percussion and kazoo, according to Eater Boston. To see just how much the actor has changed – and to hear more about pizza – check out the music video (below) and buy your ticket for the Boston show, here.
