The Big One

A breakdown on the day’s biggest Inno story.

Sri: Equal pay done the right way!

Massachusetts will put a new gender equal pay law into effect on July 1 for the first time since 1945. The state will bring equal pay act into effect and is working towards closing the current wage gap in the state. (Women make 84.3 percent of what men make in the state.)

KG:  Employers also can’t prevent employees from talking about how much they make. Not only that, it also includes a language change that mandates that employees who are ‘comparable’ be paid equally. More on that here.
