MBTA delays on both the Green Line and Red Line Thursday morning once again left commuters stranded on packed station platforms, waiting for trains some 10 to 15 minutes away.
A group of riders left standing at North Quincy Station have more reasons to be annoyed than others. Red Line passenger Caroline Fong said the car she was jammed into at North Quincy was taken out of service. Fong and her fellow passengers inside the car were emptied onto the platform. And her’s was the only car forced to do so, Fong said in the above tweet.
@NBoroyan Just emptied – no reason given. An MBTA guy with a yellow jacket and walkie talkie came in and told us to get off.

It appears that a door is once again to blame, Danielle McNally tweeted.

On Tuesday, a Green Line trolley car door fell off in the tunnel between Boylston and Park St.
The T has tweeted delays along the D Branch of the Green Line were sparked by a disabled train.

But Red Line riders have been left in the dark.
@MBTA so are you calling the redline this morning “regular service”?

@MBTA 9am on a weekday, why are red line trains running 15 minutes apart?

One tweet did praise a Red Line conductor for explaining the situation, but also suggested he didn’t feel the same about the Authority as a whole.
Conductor on #redline ("major" delays w/ switch problem at #parkst) kept apologizing for any "convenience". Convenient the t is NOT. #MBTA
