Techstars Boston has just announced the newest class of startups for its spring accelerator program. These lucky startups will work under a strong network of mentors for the next three months in their fancy new Boston office in Kendall Square. There are 12 in total, 11 of which have names, and in true Techstars form, one will remain stealthy.

Techstars Boston saw a huge applicant pool this year with almost 700 startups submitting an application. That is a huge demand seeing as their is also a NYC Techstars only 3 hours away. Techstars Boston is also here to stay, well for at least another four years. Back in February, they had raised $2 million in funding to support the next four years of incubation in Boston.

In an email to BostInno this morning Managing Director Katie Rae expressed her excitment for the newest class, “This is a fantastic group of motivated, smart entrepreneurs.  The mentors and I feel privileged to be with them for the next three months.  Even in the first week they are working around the clock building their product, closing deals, and meeting investors – very exciting.”

Best of luck to all of the companies, we will be watching.
