After unveiling his education plan last week, Mike Ross pushed his education agenda further today, holding a press conference in front of the Boston Public School headquarters at 1 p.m.

During his press conference at 26 Court Street Ross stated that he believes existing structures at Court Street have hindered, rather than improved Boston Public Schools.”As mayor I will appoint a superintendent and a school committee with mandates to clean house at Court Street,” said Ross.

Ross said he was disheartened by the education reform plans put forth by his competitors.
With his press conference today, Ross appears to be attempting to distinguish himself from other candidates on the education issue.
