Broad Street Riot

131 Broad St., Boston

Say goodbye to Blue Inc. and hello to Broad Street Riot this weekend. Dig Boston is reporting that the new restaurant opens today, November 14 in the now shuttered Blue Inc. space in downtown Boston. According to the article, diners should “expect Honey Fried Chicken and Waffles” – get after it.

Forge Baking Company

626 Somerville Ave., Somerville

Somerville’s newest bakery/cafe, Forge Baking Company, opened November 5, according to Eater Boston. Stop by for baked goods and plenty of coffee this weekend.

Ghirardelli

6 North Market Building, Faneuil Hall, Boston

The San Francisco-based chocolate company opened a two-story ice cream and chocolate shop in Boston’s Faneuil Hall this month. The shop offers up a wide assortment of “fountain treats” including shakes, floats, malts and more.

Mike’s Pastry

11 Dunster Street, Cambridge

Forget the North End – Cambridge residents can now get their cannoli fix at their own Mike’s Pastry. A second location of the Italian pastry shop opened in Harvard Square this week. Let’s just hope the line isn’t as long as its “Little Italy” counterpart.

River Bar

One of Boston’s most highly anticipated restaurant openings of the season has finally arrived! River Bar opened this past Wednesday, November 12 in Somerville’s Assembly Row.
