Apple has yet to release iOS 7 for its iPad to developers, though a new video has surfaced of what appears the next-generation mobile operating system running on the flagship tablet. The video is from Russian YouTube user Rozetked though its unclear at this time as to whether the footage is of iOS 7 or a concept mock-up.

The video depicts familiar aspects of what’s been announced for iOS 7, most notably the updated user interface without the iconic skeumorphism once championed by founder Steve Jobs.

Apparently, prompting the device no longer features the slide to unlock cue. The user then proceeds to swipe the screen easily and shows updated, flatter apps and icons, as well as a fully functional notifications bar. He then opens a number of apps and shows their respective screens though there is no media uploaded on the device.

As displayed at WWDC earlier this month, apps are each color-coded and simplistic in an attempt to give the user a harmonized experience. Updates to iOS were also included for Safari, Siri, a tracking screen to optimum viewing angles, app store searchability, and iTunes Radio among other tweaks.

CNET reached out to Apple for a comment but the Cupertino electronics manufacturer has yet to respond. iOS 7 in beta has only been released for the iPhone thus far and Apple has not indicated if and/or when it would be available in beta for the iPad. However, the video in question seems to capture many of the same designs and updates Apple promised and made good on.

Apple told developers and streamers at WWDC that iOS 7 would be consumer available in the fall of this year, but did not give a specific date. The next-generation iPhone, unofficially called the iPhone 5S, is expected to debut around the same time along with a rumored low-cost iPhone.
