While I’m all for resolutions, taking on too many can end in disaster. So, this year, I’m starting with a few small and simple beauty changes that make a big impact. Check them out below.

Get (Your Hair) Centered
You know that middle part you’ve always thought about trying out? Now is the time. Why? It instantly makes your face look slim and stunning (take that, fad diets).

Step Away from the Tweezers
If we’ve learned anything from Cara Delevingne this year, it’s that a bold brow can transform your face. Unfortunately, these babies won’t grow in instantly, so until they do, fake it with brow pencils and gels. I recommend Kimiko’s “Super Fine Eyebrow Pencil Automatique.”

Pucker Up
Did you hear? Lipstick is the new nail art. So, for 2014, put down the stick-on prints and pick up a tube of this spring’s must-have orange lipstick for a seriously on-trend (and eye-catching) look.
