I’m betting that plenty of you out there made some sort of New Year’s fitness resolution. Whether it was to eat healthier, exercise more or simply join a gym, 2014 means a new start and (hopefully) a better you. But just how exactly do you plan to improve your fitness and nutritional habits?

As for me, I wouldn’t even know where to start. Except to maybe (you know) cut out BBQ, I’m close to clueless when it comes to juice cleanses and exercise. Which is why we recruited personal trainer and former pageant training reality star on the Style Network’s “Wicked Fit,” Katie Boyd.

Boyd is also owner of the local gym, Katie Boyd’s Miss Fit Club located in Hudson, NH, and trains hundreds of Miss USA and Miss America competitors – both nationally and internationally.
