Though a white Nexus 4 and Android 4.3 didn’t make it into the Google I/O keynote session, new reports are suggesting both are poised for an imminent release. According to Android and Me, a white-cased Nexus 4 and Android 4.3 are rumored to be released June 10. The handset will be available via the Google Play store and will operate on the 4.3 version of Jelly Bean.

Supposedly the only difference between this Nexus 4 and the current market version is just the white casing. Sources like Ars Technia and Android Authority seem to agree, meaning the white-cased Nexus is essentially a carbon copy of the one available on Google Play.

There are some speculated updates, however indiscreet they may seem. Its assumed that the Nexus 4 will have Bluetooth Smart support as well as support for OpenGL ES 3.0 which would help to better regulate and improve battery life on the handset.

Pundits are pegging a $299 price tag for the Google gadget which is in sync with the current model that offers 8GB of storage. Even better is the Android 4.3 update which Google debuted some of during the I/O keynote, showing off awesome updates to Google Maps and the new Google Play Music All access streaming service.

Android Authority does note, however, that the Android 4.3 could come as late as July if Google decides to opt for a release on a Nexus 7, the search engine giant’s flagship tablet. If that’s the case then the Nexus may be either a device with an early look at 4.3 Jelly Bean or it will only be announced in June with a retail availability for after the Nexus 7. Until then, though, we’ll have to wait and see. But in the meantime we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground.
