The weather outside may be frightful but at least we have new restaurants to try this week! Today, December 9, two of Boston’s most anticipated restaurants will debut in the Hub with plenty of Asian-inspired fare that will make your trek through the rain well-worth the trip.

For starters, the Korean fusion restaurant, Koy, opens today in Faneuil Hall. The restaurant, which is moving into the former UBurger space, will offer “something vastly different than fast-food burgers,” Eater Boston reports. Chef Sebastian Martinez, formerly of Volle Nolle in the North End, has cooked up all sorts of interesting Korean dishes at an affordable price. The restaurant’s full menu (provided by UrbanDaddy) will include dishes like Carnitas Dumplings, Bulgogi Sandwiches, Kimchi Salads, and BBQ Short Rib – among other offerings.

But that’s not the only Asian-inspired eatery opening its doors today. According to Eater Boston, the long-awaited Night Market will also make its debut at 5 p.m. tonight in Harvard Square. Diners can expect a menu with lots of “Asian street food,” featuring dishes like Gyoza, stewed minced pork on rice, egg rolls and more – per their food-filled Instagram account.

If you go, Koy is located at 16 North Street near Faneuil Hall and Night Market is located at 48 JFK St. in Cambridge’s Harvard Square.
