Today is unbearably cold. So cold it should be illegal. Or, at least, illegal to have to leave the warmth of our homes.

While that legislation is a way’s off, we have something for you that might make up for it. Or, at least, make your cold commute a little better. (Despite the fact that tomorrow should only be colder.)

The Soup Nazi food truck – fashioned in honor of Seinfeld, of course – will be parking in Government Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, December 11, and tomorrow, December 12. Their kind souls will be handing out free cups of soup, provided by Zo, to the freezing, the sniffling, and those in between, all part of American Well’s “No sick for you!” agenda dedicated to keeping the people of Boston up and running.

In addition to that agenda, American Well will be promoting their new system creating fast and easy access to affordable healthcare. Now, patients can make appointments online or by downloading the American Well mobile app for iPhone or Android.

So this week, avoid illness and record-breaking-cold induced depression by paying for a visit to the Soup Nazi truck on Wednesday and Thursday. The voice blaring from the truck may sound harsh – No sick for you! – but the intentions are pure. Almost warms my freezing extremities.
