The first week of October (aka the best month of the year) is coming to a close – which means, it’s time to make some weekend plans. The unseasonably warm weather happening right now is clearly a sign from above that we need to get out and break free of our Friday night Netflix viewing habits.

And not only is the weather fabuloso, but it’s also National Taco Day (any excuse to eat more guac is alright by me). So, if you find yourself out downtown after midnight, perhaps on Boylston Street or in the South End, there’s only one appropriate way to satisfy your late night munchies – and that’s with tacos.

But not just any tacos — Carne Asada Tacos. And if the picture itself doesn’t make your mouth water, the ingredients might. The tacos are stuffed with marinated grilled steak, cabbage, poblano, cilantro sauce, guacamole and ancho chile vinaigrette (oh my gawd). It is after midnight yet?

You can find these tacos at Poe’s Kitchen at the Rattlesnake located 384 Boylston Street. How convenient since you were planning on heading out in that direction anyway. The kitchen stays open until 1:30a.m. leaving you plenty of time to hit the town before. And weather permitting, the bar also happens to have a fun roofdeck bar upstairs.
