Burlington, Mass. based Nuance has just introduced PDF Converter for Mac, a comparable product to the company’s PDF Converter for Windows which is deployed already on 3 million computers. With software across both Macs and Windows, the company competes directly with long standing Adobe Acrobat — but with offerings at a fraction of the price.

PDF Converter for Mac is just $99, almost a fifth of the cost of the competing Adobe Acrobat Professional software which retails for $450 for Mac.
