Here are the Boston companies that made the list:

1. See Why-See Why follows up with customers who left a shopping website without purchasing anything in real-time.

2. Lattice Engines-Lattice Engines helps their clients maximize their return on sales and marketing investments using analytical software. They can anticipate market opportunity, allocate resources, and improve execution efforts.

3. Skyhook Wireless-Skyhook combines GPS, Cell Tower triangulation, and Wi-Fi positioning to determine your exact location. They promise zero wait time and one-hundred percent accuracy.

4. Ion Interactive-Using cloud-based software, Ion Interactive helps their customers develop landing pages, pay-per-click email, and social marketing.

5. Hubspot-Hubspot helps small to medium businesses get found on the Internet. Using inbound marketing, Hubspot gets qualified customers to your website and then helps you convert them into paying customers.

6. Conduit Labs-Conduit Labs creates social gameplay through music interaction. They are responsible for Loudcrowd, a social networking site where you can play music games together.

7. uLocate-uLocate developed the WHERE mobile application, that allows you to quickly access restaurants, friends, shopping, gas stations, and entertainment nearby.

8. RAMP-Ramp helps their clients optimize their print, video, and broadcasting content using the Software as a Service (SaaS) platform.

9. Goby-Goby is a search engine that helps you find fun things to do based on your available time and where you’re located.

10. BiddingForGood-BiddingForGood uses the online auctioning idea to help raise money for the charity or organization of your choice.

11. Viximo– Viximo is the pioneer in virtual gift-giving. Virtual goods are digital icons that can be exchanged back and forth for a small fee. Viximo helps their clients create virtual gifts that are relevant and drive engagement.
