I think we can safely say the New England Patriots (and their fans) have certainly seen better days. Despite securing their eighth AFC Championship over the Indianapolis Colts this past Sunday, the Patriots are now facing a Deflate-Gate scandal that’s captured the nation’s attention.

The silver lining though? Bostonians can now make the most of the Deflate-Gate scandal with free apps. From now until Super Bowl Sunday, Boston’s Cask ‘n Flagon bar is offering up free appetizers to diners who bring in a new regulation-size football (either deflated or inflated).

Besides getting a free appetizer, diners will also be able to give back to a good cause. All footballs given to Cask ‘n Flagon will be turned over to the Good Sports, a nonprofit organization who helps to lay the foundation for healthy, active lifestyles by providing athletic equipment, footwear, and apparel to disadvantaged young people nationwide.

Both the Fenway and Marshfield locations are participating. For more information, check here.
