On Saturday night, four fashion startups came together in Boston to put their best foot forward during a Fashion Up event hosted by Paul English at his Fort Point incubator, Blade.

Nineteenth Amendment (which can count the Kayak.com founder English as one of its investor), Bow & Drape, The Fashion Project and Ministry of Supply were the featured startups at the party, which centered around a fashion show that displayed the work of Nineteenth Amendment’s budding designers, Ministry of Supply’s tech-forward fashion and Bow & Drape’s customizable attire.

While not all companies are local, it was a night to remember for Boston’s fashion-, tech- and retail-focused. Bow & Drape is located in New York City, and while Nineteenth Amendment was founded here in Boston, the company that provides a market for new fashion designers recently relocated to New York.

The styles seen on the runway included original designs, casual outfits, sleek menswear, and Bow & Drape’s current trend of the moment: graphic sweatshirts paired with maxi skirts.

A party, DJ’d by English’s talented 17-year-old cousin, followed the show over custom cocktails matched with each startup. If you missed out on the fashion startup get together, check out photos of all the action in the slideshow below.
